Alright, so long story short:
I started a Patreon account so people could support me. But I kinda figured out that Patreon – as the only way – might not be the right move.
I wanted to have a way where folks could support me and get something exclusive on top of it.
But I also get that becoming a patron on Patreon is a big step.
You gotta make an account and you can only support monthly.
Sure, you could give a one time donation and cancel the subscription right away.
But that’s both a little intimidating, since it is your hard earned cash, and you also gotta have a Patreon account for it.
That’s why I just went ahead and set up a BUYMEACOFFEE account, too.
Anyone can pitch in a one time amount to support me there without having to sign up. This goes for here, too: It is only an OPTION to support me!
Nobody HAS to do it.
It would help cover some of my ongoing costs for the project, but I am gonna do this no matter what, anyway.
